I am pretty sure you wonder what the connection is between a tiny organic giraffe teether and the Mundial in South Africa.
The Mundial is neither organic and is no teether... though some people might be clunching their teeth while listening to the concerts of Vuvuzelas.
Therefore we are left with "giraffe" as a connecting word. ^__^ « Élémentaire, mon cher Watson ! »
Yes, thanks to Lior, I learned today that the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit is also called Giraffe Stadium. Rather appropriate for the country but it is not all!
The stadium design reflects its inter-relation with the nearby Kruger National Park. The signature feature of the stadium are the 18 roof supports that resemble giraffes. The seats are patterned with zebra stripes.
Quite an ingenuous and pretty design, isnt' it?
This is an amazing stadium. Giraffe on the outside and zebra on the inside :)
